I was that kid, the one who came home with endless notes from school, all echoing the same refrain: ‘Struggles to pay attention.’ I even flunked grade two because of it.
As a homeschool parent, you probably know this isn’t because I wasn’t smart, or that I was too lazy, or a ‘bad’ child. It was because I was bored, unmotivated, and I quite literally couldn’t focus on the work.
I went from failing grade two to graduating with honours in my Master of Communication Management degree.
With my own children, Izzy and Evey, I started using storytelling to help them work through problems, both in life and school.
Watching them blossom with newfound confidence, I knew I had a calling. A purpose. Armed with my education and experience, I ventured forth to create Kaper Kids. Why? To bring that spark of resilience and ingenious thinking to kids everywhere. To turn learning into laughter and curiosity into capability.
Cancel your subscription at any time and all further shipments will cease. If you receive a Kaper Kit and are not satisfied cancel within 30 days of trying it out and we will refund your money for that month and cancel any further shipments.

My kids loved that the kits came in the mail and were personalized with their names. As a mom of four kids, I loved that each kit had three different levels of each puzzle. We would bring the kits to sports practice and well …everywhere to keep the kids not at practice engaged and learning. They were great!
My youngest still asks when the next series is coming out and how soon we can get it for them! (Kaper Kids… we are eagerly waiting for Series Two!)

While she was working on it, there was a challenging bit for her. I loved the suggestion bubble telling us to pause and come back to it.
That definitely helped us both when she started to get frustrated. After a bit of a break, she came back and finished it all!
Once she solved her first Kaper, a few days later, she took the letter cypher from the puzzle and used it to send me a coded message of her own.
“I love you Mom”. It melted my heart. We both can’t wait for the next Kaper to come out!
